Little Timmy


Little Timmy’s teachers noticed that he had become cold and distant. He didn’t like playing with his friends any more – he didn’t go out with the other little girls and boys at playtime, instead he preferred to stay in the classroom doing sums. Nobody knew it but little Timmy had become infected with a spore from the long-ago robot wars and the spore was building high-density neutronium circuits in his brain. As a result little Timmy didn’t like playing any more – he preferred writing algorithms, and then when he wanted a break from the algorithms he enjoyed performing logically specified tasks and enacting protocols…
